Christina Irizarry

Cristina Irizarry is a Case Manager at National Disability Alliance, where she supports clients with diligence, empathy, and attention to detail throughout the disability benefits process. With a strong academic foundation in psychology and criminology, combined with hands-on experience in administrative support, multicultural outreach, and legal observation, Cristina brings a versatile skill set and a client-centered approach to her role.

Before joining National Disability Alliance, Cristina gained valuable experience at Pennsylvania State University under Olivia Harper, where she worked as a receptionist for the Office of Scholars Programs and the Multicultural Resource Center. She also completed a shadowing experience at the Caguas Judicial Center under the Honorable Mibari Rivera, observing court proceedings and learning judicial processes firsthand. Additionally, she worked at Irizarry Lumberyard in San Juan, strengthening her organizational and data management skills.

Cristina has been deeply engaged in leadership and service initiatives, including serving as Secretary of the Puerto Rican Student Association, Ambassador for the Student Leadership Council, and participating in a study abroad program in the Netherlands focused on comparative criminal and social justice. She has also volunteered with organizations such as Fresh Start.

Cristina earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminology from The Pennsylvania State University, College of the Liberal Arts, where she achieved Dean’s List recognition in all eight semesters. She was also awarded the prestigious Bunton Waller Fellows Award, a full-tuition scholarship granted for academic excellence.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Cristina combines her academic achievements, leadership experience, and language skills to provide accessible, compassionate advocacy for clients at National Disability Alliance.
